You read the title right and yes, it's that song, but yet, it's not. I don't remember how I ran across Postmodern Jukebox but I'm glad I did. I ended up listening to pretty much every cover they had on Spotify and selected a number of songs to add to the playlist. I'm not sure what genre to list them but I guess I'm going with Jazz.
You could have a steam train
If you'd just lay down your tracks
You could have an aeroplane flying
If you bring your blue skies back
All you do is call me
I'll be anything you need
You could have a big dipper
Going up and down, all around the bends
You could have a bumper car, bumping
This amusement never ends
I wanna be your sledgehammer
Why don't you call my name?
Oh, you'd better call the sledgehammer
And this will be my testimony
Sledge, sledge, sledgehammer
Show me 'round your fruit cage
And I will be your honey bee
Open up your fruit cage
Where the fruit is sweet as can be
I wanna be your sledgehammer
Why don't you call my name?
Oh, you'd better call the sledgehammer
And there will be no doubt about it
Sledge, sledge, sledgehammer
I've kicked the habit (I've kicked the habit)
Shed my skin (shed my skin)
You know this is the new stuff (this is the new stuff)
I go dancing in (I go dancing in)
Oh, won't you show for me? (show for me)
And I will show for you (show for you)
Please, show for me (show for me)
And I will show for you
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
I do mean you
Only you (I've kicked the habit)
You've been comin' through
We're gonna build that power (shed my skin)
Build, build up that power
Oh, feedin' the rhythm (this is the new stuff)
I've been feedin' the rhythm
Gonna feel that power, yeah build in you
Come on, come on, help me do
Come on, come on, help me do
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
I've been feedin' the rhythm
I've been feedin' the rhythm
This can be my testimony
