I listen to a lot of music throughout the week, the playlist (5000+ songs) I use has pretty much everything on it that I like. From 1950's to current. This is my place to post the last song that I listened to that day as well as other random music stuff.
I'm not sure where I heard this song before but I liked it enough to add it to my playlist. As far as I know, this is my only Ashlee Simpson song. I say that because I know very little of her or her music.
On a Monday, I am waiting
Tuesday, I am fading
And by Wednesday, I can't sleep
Then the phone rings, I hear you
And the darkness is a clear view
Cuz you've come to rescue me
Fall... With you, I fall so fast
I can hardly catch my breath, I hope it lasts
[Chorus:]
Ohhhhh
It seems like I can finally rest my head on something real
I like the way that feels
Ohhhhh
It's as if you know me better than I ever knew myself
I love how you can tell
All the pieces, pieces, pieces of me
All the pieces, pieces, pieces of me
I am moody, messy
I get restless, and it's senseless
How you never seem to care
When I'm angry, you listen
Make me happy it's your mission
And you won't stop til I'm there
Fall... Sometimes I fall so fast
When I hit that bottom
Crash, you're all I have
[Chorus:]
Ohhhhh
It seems like I can finally rest my head on something real
I like the way that feels
Ohhhhh
It's as if you known me better than I ever knew myself
I love how you can tell
All the pieces, pieces, pieces of me
How do you know everything I'm about to say?
Am I that obvious?
And if it's written on my face...
I hope it never goes away... yeah
On a Monday, I am waiting
And by Tuesday, I am fading into your arms...
So I can breathe
[Chorus:]
Ohhhhh
It seems like I can finally rest my head on something real
I like the way that feels
Ohhhhh
It's as if you've know me better than I ever knew myself
I love how you can tell
Ohhhhh
I love how you can tell
Ohhhhh
I love how you can tell
All the pieces, pieces, pieces of me
All the pieces, pieces, pieces of me...

I don't have a lot of Coolio but I do have a few, starting with this one. I have the opening music on this playlist as well if you know what it is.
Now I've seen places and faces
and things you ain't never thought about thinkin'
if you ain't peeped then you must be drinkin'
and smokin'
pretending not to loc'in but you're broken
let me get you open
now little Timmy got his diploma and
little Jimmy got life
and Tamika round the corner just took her first hit off the pipe
the other homie shot the other homie and ran off with his 20
and when the other homies heard about it they thought that it was funny
but who's the dummy, cause you just lost a hustler
a down ass brother been replaced by a buster
and though I got love for you, I know I can't trust you
cause my crew is rollin' Hummers and your crew is rollin' dusters
and just because of that you act like you don't like a brother no more
I guess that's just the way it go
I ain't tryin' to preach, I believe I can reach
but your mind ain't prepared
I'll see you when you get there
[Chorus:]
I'll see you when you get there
if you ever get there
see you when you get there
I'll see you when you get there
if you ever get there
see you when you get there
(40 Thevz)]
More temptation than faith
I guess we livin' for the day
I seen a man get swept off his feet by a boy with an AK
the situation so twisted everybody gettin lifted
I'm just tryin to take care of my kids and handle my business
cause it's way too serious so you gotta pay close attention
so you don't get caught slippin' when they come and do all the gettin'
life is a big game so you gotta play it with a big heart
some of us gotta run a little faster cause we gotta later start
but I'd be a fool to surrender when I know I can be a contender
and if everybody's a sinner then everybody could ba a winner
no matter you rag color deep down we all brothers
and regardless of the time somebody up there still love us
I'm gonna scuffle and struggle until I'm breathless and weak
I just strived my whole life to make it to the mountain peak
always keep reachin' be sure to grab hold of something
I'll be there when you get there when you wit the sounds bumpin'
[Chorus:]
I'll see you when you get there
if you ever get there
see you when you get there
I'll see you when you get there
if you ever get there
see you when you get there
(40 Thevz)]
You need to loosen up
and live a little
and if you got kids let them know how you feel
and for your own sake give a little
oh, you don't want to hear that
you busy tryin' to stack
and keep up with the Jones' taking advantage of your own
the realest homies that you've been knowin' for the longest
but some ain't missing a good thing until it's gone
could have built an empire if not for the jealousy that divides us
we prefer to keep our eyes shut to describe when
it's something wrong and we desire
so hold your head up high if your poor and righteous
I know time seems strife
and the problems seem endless
but at times of despair we gotta pull ourselves together
and if you fell you're out the game then you need to get back in it
cause' nothing worse than a quitter
you gotta face responsibility one day, my brother
so gather up your pitty and turn it to ambition
and put your vehicle in drive and stop by my side
[Chorus:]
As we walk down the road of our destiny
and the time comes to choose which it gonna be
the wide and crooked, or the straight and narrow
we got one voice to give and one life to live
stand up for something or lie down in your game
listen to the song that we sing
it's up to you to make it be
I guess I'll see you when you see me
[chorus fade out]

Take the time just to listen
When the voices screaming are much too loud,
Take a look in the distance,
Try and see it all,
Chances are that ya might find,
That we share a common discomfort now
I feel I'm walking a fine line
Tell me only if it's real
Still I'm on my way,
On and on it goes,
Vacant hope to take
Hey - I can't live in here for another day
Darkness has kept the light concealed
Grim as ever
Hold on to faith as I dig another grave
Meanwhile the mice endure the wheel
Real as ever
And it seems I've been buried alive
I walk the fields through the fire,
Taking steps until I found solid ground
Followed dreams reaching higher
Couldn't survive the fall
Much has changed since the last time
And I feel a little less certain now
You know I jumped at the first sign
Tell me only if it's real
Memories seem to fade
On and on it goes
Wash my view away
Hey - I can't live in here for another day
Darkness has kept the light concealed
Grim as ever
Hold on to faith as I dig another grave
Meanwhile the mice endure the wheel
Real as ever
And I'm chained like a slave, trapped in the dark
Slammed all the locks, death calls my name
And it seems I've been buried alive
Take you down now, burn it all out
Throw you all around, get your fuckin'
HANDS OFF ME!
What's it feel like? Took the wrong route
Watch it fall apart now you're knockin' AT THE WRONG GATE!
For you to pay the toll, a price for you alone
The only deal you'll find, I'll gladly take your soul
While it seems sick, sober up quick
Psycho lunatic crushing you with
HANDS OF FATE!
Shame to find out, when it's too late
But you're all the same
Trapped inside INFERNO AWAITS!
Evil thoughts can hide, I'll help release the mind
I'll peel away the skin, release the dark within
This is now your life
Strike you from the light
This is now your life
Die, buried alive
This is now your life (what's it feel like)
Strike you from the light (let me take in your soul)
This is now your life (what's it feel like)
Die, buried alive (let me take in your soul)
This is now your life
Die, buried alive!

Jason
Jason Derulo
Get jazzy on it
[Jason Derulo:]
I'm that flight that you get on, international
First class seat on my lap girl, riding comfortable
This song is a staple from Aerosmith. It's not my favorite as one of their "classic" songs is but it's probably up there. Other than it was overplayed for years, it's still a great song.
[Chorus:]
That, that dude looks like a lady
That, that dude looks like a lady
That, that dude looks like a lady
That, that dude looks like a lady
Cruise into a bar on the shore
Her picture graced the grime on the door
She's a long lost love at first bite
Baby maybe you're wrong but you know it's all right
That's right
That, that
That, that
Backstage we're havin' the time
Of our lives until somebody say
Forgive me if I seem out of line
Then she whipped out her gun and tried to blow me away!
[Chorus]
Never judge a book by it's cover
Or who you gonna love by your lover
Sayin' love put me wise to her love in disguise
She had the body of a Venus, Lord imagine my surprise.
[Chorus]
So baby let me follow you down (let me take a peek dear)
Baby let me follow you down (do me, do me, do me all night)
Baby let me follow you down (turn the other cheek dear)
Baby let me follow you down (do me, do me, do me, do me)
Ooh, what a funky lady
Ooh, she like it, like it, like it, like that.
Ooh, he was a lady!
[Chorus 2x]
Dude, dude, dude, dude looks like a lady
Dude, dude, dude, dude looks like a lady
Dude, dude, dude, dude looks like a lady
Dude, dude, dude, dude looks like a lady
