I listen to a lot of music throughout the week, the playlist (5000+ songs) I use has pretty much everything on it that I like. From 1950's to current. This is my place to post the last song that I listened to that day as well as other random music stuff.
What are the chances I get 2 TV/Movie Theme songs in a row when it took 213 posts to get the first one? I really liked this theme as well. The show was pretty good as well. It was based off a Stephen King book so I had to watch it.

Another genre I haven't listed. I told you I had a few more that I haven't gotten to list yet. I have TV and Movie themes on here as well. I watch a lot of both and of course, certain ones I love hearing, either the music itself or just as a reminder of the show. This one, I love the show so it had to be on here. The video is from season 3, the song doesn't change from the seasons but the pictures do.

I'm sure most of you haven't heard of this group, I'm guessing even some of the people here for the Christian music haven't. I don't remember how I started listening to them, I want to say an ex-girlfriend introduced me. I had this album and I think one more of their but I can't find that one on Spotify. So you'll get more songs by them in future posts.
Wow! I hadn't seen that album cover before today. Lol. I didn't listen to Country until about 5 or 6 years ago so I've probably heard this song from my wife and/or the radio because she tends to play Country when we are in her car. It must have been pretty popular because I still hear it all the time.
I woke up early this morning around 4am
With the moon shining bright as headlights on the interstate
I pulled the covers over my head and tried to catch some sleep
But thoughts of us kept keeping me awake
Ever since you found yourself in someone else's arms
I've been tryin' my best to get along
But that's OK
There's nothing left to say, but
Take your records, take your freedom
Take your memories, I don't need'em
Take your space and take your reasons
But you'll think of me
And take your cap and leave my sweater
'Cause we have nothing left to weather
In fact I'll feel a whole lot better
But you'll think of me, you'll think of me
I went out driving trying to clear my head
I tried to sweep out all the ruins that my emotions left
I actually don't know this song very well, I've only heard it a few times but it was enough to put it on the playlist. This is the 2nd song by them off this album on this blog.
I am an arms dealer
Fitting you with weapons in the form of words
And don't really care which side wins
As long as the room keeps singing
That's just the business I'm in, yeah
This ain't a scene, it's a goddamned arms race
This ain't a scene, it's a goddamned arms race
This ain't a scene, it's a goddamned arms race
I'm not a shoulder to cry on
But I digress
I'm a leading man
And the lies I weave are oh so intricate,
Oh so intricate
I'm a leading man
And the lies I weave are oh so intricate,
Oh so intricate
I wrote the gospel on giving up
(You look pretty sinking)
But the real bombshells have already sunk
(Prima donnas of the gutter)
At night we're painting your trash gold while you sleep
Crashing not like hips or cars*,
No, more like p-p-p-parties
This ain't a scene, it's a goddamned arms race
This ain't a scene, it's a goddamned arms race
This ain't a scene, it's a goddamned arms race
This bandwagon's full
Please, catch another
I'm a leading man
And the lies I weave are oh so intricate,
Oh so intricate
I'm a leading man
And the lies I weave are oh so intricate,
Oh so intricate
Yeah...
Whoa-oh
All the boys who the dance floor didn't love
And all the girls whose lips couldn't move fast enough
Sing, until your lungs give out
This ain't a scene, it's a goddamned arms race
This ain't a scene, it's a goddamned arms race
(Now you)
This ain't a scene, it's a goddamned arms race
(Wear out the groove)
This ain't a scene, it's a goddamned arms race
(Sing out loud)
This ain't a scene, it's a goddamned arms race
(Oh, oh)
This ain't a scene, it's a goddamned arms race
I'm a leading man
And the lies I weave are oh so intricate,
Oh so intricate
I'm a leading man
And the lies I weave are oh so intricate,
Oh so intricate

I don't have any songs by Timbaland on this blog but there are others of OneRepublic who is also in this song. My wife introduced me to this song when we were dating. Not necessarily introduced me to as I heard it because of the radio station she listened to.
I'm holding on your rope, got me ten feet off the ground
And I'm hearing what you say, but I just can't make a sound
You tell me that you need me then you go and cut me down, but wait
You tell me that you're sorry, didn't think I'd turn around, and say (that)
"It's too late to apologize (it's too late)."
I said, "It's too late to apologize (it's too late)."
I'd take another chance, take a fall, take a shot for you
And I need you like a heart needs a beat, but it's nothin' new (yeah)
I loved you with a fire red, now it's turning blue, and you say,
"Sorry," like the angel heaven let me think was you, but I'm afraid...
"It's too late to apologize (it's too late)."
I said, "It's too late to apologize (it's too late)."
"It's too late to apologize (it's too late)."
I said, "It's too late to apologize (it's too late)."
I said, "It's too late to apologize," yeah (too late)
I said, "It's too late to apologize," yeah (too late)
I'm holdin' on your rope, got me ten feet off the ground

I really loved this song when it first came out, I listened to it all the time. I still jam out to it when it comes on, like I did today since it was nice enough to have the windows down. I think the violins(?) in the background are what really attracted to me.
I'm comin' up for air so I can
Check myself again and I stand
Proven to the man but sheltered
Confidence we tend to (shove in)
Unexpected hunger traps me
Just shut up and stand beside me
I don't need your understanding
I don't need to change a damn thing
And though I'm used to have you here
It does not change the man I was
When you found me and there was no one else around me
Just turn the page and watch me grow
There's so many things that you don't know about my soul
Live and die but this will not get old
Just when you think that you're down and out
Don't preconceive what I'm all about
Look for a reason that you have to start
Acting like a friend that you were not
And when you think that we played it out
We come from the bottom and knock it out
Look for a reason that you have to start
Acting like a friend but you were not, yeah
Nothing in between to fall through
I'm being myself, who are you?
You stand above and look down
You're just a plagiaristic clown
You suck the life out of me
You keep track of the payee
And when this wealth becomes dry
You'll shed a tear for another lie
And though I'm used to have you here
It does not change the man I was
When you found me and there was no one else around me
Just turn the page and watch me grow
There's so many things that you don't know about my soul
Live and die but this will not get old
Just when you think that you're down and out
Don't preconceive what I'm all about
Look for a reason that you have to start
Acting like a friend that you were not
And when you think that we played it out
We come from the bottom and knock it out
Look for a reason that you have to start
Acting like a friend but you were not, yeah
And though I'm used to have you here
It does not change the man I was
When you found me and there was no one else around me
Yeah, yeah, yeah, oh
Just when you think that you're down and out
Don't preconceive what I'm all about
Look for a reason that you have to start
Acting like a friend that you were not
And when you think that we played it out
We come from the bottom and knock it out
Look for a reason that you have to start
Acting like a friend but you were not, yeah

Take time to realize,
That your warmth is crashing down on in.
Take time to realize,
That I am on your side.
Didn't I, didn't I tell you?
But I can't spell it out for you.
No, it's never gonna be that simple.
No, I can't spell it out for you.
[Chorus:]
If you just realize what I just realized,
Then we'd be perfect for each other,
And we'll never find another.
Just realize what I just realized.
We'd never have to wonder if
We missed out on each other now.
Take time to realize.
Oh-oh, I'm on your side.
Didn't I, didn't I tell you?
Take time to realize
This all can pass you by.
Didn't I tell you?
But I can't spell it out for you.
No, it's never gonna be that simple.
No, I can't spell it out for you.
[Chorus:]
If you just realize what I just realized
Then we'd be perfect for each other,
And we'll never find another.
Just realize what I just realized.
We'd never have to wonder if
We missed out on each other but...
It's not the same,
No, it's never the same
If you don't feel it too.
If you meet me halfway,
If you would meet me halfway,
It could be the same for you.
[Chorus:]
If you just realize what I just realized
Then we'd be perfect for each other,
And we'll never find another.
Just realize what I just realized.
We'd never have to wonder.
Just realize what I just realized.
If you just realize what I just realized.
Oh.
Missed out on each other now.
Missed out on each other now, yeah.
Realize.
Realize.
Realize.
Realize.

Great song to rock out to. You'll definitely see more Papa Roach songs on this blog, this is the 2nd one so far. I've liked their stuff for awhile. I was hoping for a good song for our 200th song and I got one.
Hollywood whore,
Passed out on the floor,
I'm sorry but the party's over.
Cocaine nose,
And trendy clothes,
Gotta send her to rehab.
She found out she's got no soul,
But it really doesn't bother her.
White trash queen,
American dream-
Oh, what a role model.
Throwing a fit,
Making a scene,
Like no tomorrow.
Hollywood whore,
Passed out on the floor,
Can't take it no more,
I'm sorry but the party's over.
The talk of the town,
Is she's going down.
I'm sorry but the party's over NOW.
Awake by noon, drunk by 4.
Sucked up in the show biz.
You're so lame,
You're such a bore,
I wanna kick your teeth in.
Plastic smile,
To match your style-
We can tell you got a face lift.
You're so vain, oh so vile,
You're a number one hit.
Hollywood whore,
Passed out on the floor,
Can't take it no more,
I'm sorry but the party's over.
The talk of the town,
Is she's going down,
I'm sorry but the party's over.
The cameras are gone,
And nobody screams.
She couldn't survive her 15 minutes of fame.
Her friends are all gone,
She's going insane.
She'll never survive without the money and fame.
It's all going down the drain.
Hollywood whore,
Passed out on the floor,
I'm sorry but the party's over.
The talk of the town,
Is she's going down.
I'm sorry but the party's over
Hollywood whore,
Passed out on the floor,
I'm sorry but the party's over.
The talk of the town,
Is she's going down,
I'm sorry but the party's over.
Wake up!!!!!
The party's over
[4x]
NOW
Hahaha
Don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya, hunny.
I'm not quite sure how it happened, but somehow Mama, I'm Coming Home by Ozzy Osbourne dropped off the list and it was in the 6th spot and now it's gone.
